Configure Partners Announces Launch of its Private Capital Advisory Team
Amid rapid growth in middle market private equity and private credit secondaries, the firm scales to meet rising demand for tailored liquidity solutions
Configure Partners, a trusted strategic advisory partner to leading private capital managers across the middle market, is proud to announce the launch of the firm’s Private Capital Advisory team, which advises private equity sponsors and private credit managers on liquidity solutions in the private secondary market, including continuation vehicles, fund tenders, strip sales, and other bespoke asset and fund-level liquidity solutions.
Configure’s Private Capital Advisory was developed in response to the evolution of specialized capital formation and investors in the secondaries market. With decades of experience and over $17 billion in transaction volume across over 35 deals, the team has a singular focus: to bring premier secondaries advisory expertise to the middle market — preserving the senior-led, high-touch execution that defines Configure’s approach.
With this new suite of services, Configure partners with financial sponsors and institutional investors to deliver customized GP-led secondary solutions, strategic liquidity options for LPs, capital raises to support ongoing investment initiatives, and thoughtful, transparent processes that prioritize long-term relationships.
“We’re launching an offering built around a void in the middle market,” said Managing Director Joseph Weissglass. “Middle market PE sponsors evaluating DPI alternatives have no dedicated advisor who can also advise them on the debt side and provide a complete capital structure solution when a continuation vehicle and a dividend recap need to be evaluated in parallel. Additionally, private credit secondaries have evolved into a sophisticated asset class requiring asset-level credit diligence, but the advisory community hasn’t kept up — most secondaries advisors are generalist equity-oriented shops, not credit specialists. Configure’s entire heritage is private credit. We’re filling both of those gaps, deliberately, at the part of the market where the need is greatest.”
Configure is also proud to announce the hiring of Managing Director Ravi Mehta and Vice President Jozef Lampa, who will be joining Joseph Weissglass on the Private Capital Advisory team and Configure’s expanded New York City office.
Mehta brings over 12 years of investment banking, private equity, and credit expertise to the middle market, having raised more than $5 billion in GP-led secondaries capital for his clients. Prior to joining Configure, Mehta was a key member of PJT Partners’ Private Capital Solutions Group, where he led origination, execution, and distribution of complex secondaries transactions.

Lampa has over six years of combined experience in private equity secondary investing and advisory services. Joining Configure in 2025 from the Private Capital Advisory team at Evercore, Lampa advised institutional investors and financial sponsors on over $13B in volume across LP portfolio sales and GP-led transactions.
