Configure Partners Advises Team, Inc. on its Refinancing
Atlanta, GA — Configure Partners, an investment banking platform specializing in debt placement, special situations, and M&A advisory services, announced today its role as the sole lead arranger for a global refinancing of Team, Inc.’s capital structure.
Team, Inc. is a global leader in specialty industrial services, offering clients access to a full suite of conventional, specialized, and proprietary mechanical, heat-treating, and inspection services. The company recently completed a refinancing transaction that lowers its cost of capital and terms out its capital structure.
The transaction includes a $175 million funded first lien term loan and a $50 million delayed draw term loan provided by HPS Investment Partners. Proceeds were used to repay various existing secured credit facilities, delivering more than a 100-basis point improvement in the company’s blended interest rate while simplifying the capital structure. As part of the transaction, the company’s existing ABL credit facility provided by Eclipse Business Capital will continue and was amended to permit the consummation of the transaction. All remaining outstanding debt under the existing senior secured term loan was rolled into a new $97 million second lien term loan provided by Corre Partners Management.
Configure supported key aspects of the financing process, including facilitating lender due diligence, transaction structuring, and the negotiation of financing-related documentation.
“Configure’s support was instrumental in executing this refinancing,” said Team, Inc. Chief Financial Officer Nelson Haight. “Their expertise and hands-on approach helped us navigate a complex process and secure a capital structure that enhances our financial flexibility to drive efficiency and growth.”
“We enjoyed working with Nelson and his team on this refinancing,” commented Configure Managing Director Rory Keenan. “This transaction provides Team with a more efficient capital structure that will allow the company to benefit from lower borrowing costs. We look forward to following their continued success.”
