ATLANTA – Configure Partners, LLC is pleased to announce and welcome Matthew Guill to the team as a Director. Guill will focus predominantly on providing strategic advisory, debt placement, and restructuring services to solve the complex capital structure challenges of Configure’s clients.
“I am excited to be a part of the Configure team,” said Guill. “I was attracted to the differentiated platform with a unique niche in the market, but I am especially impressed by the firm’s focus on winning as a team while growing as individuals, rather than the other way around.”
Guill brings over 15 years of experience advising companies, lenders, sponsors, and governments on an array of financing and restructuring issues, M&A activity, and general strategic advisory assignments. Prior to joining Configure, Guill spent three years with Greenhill & Co., where he focused on restructuring and financial advisory. Previously, he worked at Rothschild & Co and Millstein & Co. Guill started his investment banking career at Cary Street Partners.
“Matt is a talented and unique professional. Not only does he have an extensive background advising clients to achieve their capital structure objectives, but he exemplifies the humble, low-ego approach that is core to the culture we are building at Configure. This makes him an excellent complement to the existing team and we are thrilled to have him,” said Jay Jacquin, Managing Director.
Matt graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Hampden-Sydney College where he was the captain of the basketball team. He also holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. Matt is a FINRA General Securities Representative (Series 63 & 79).
