Atlanta, GA — Configure Partners is pleased to announce the successful completion of a strategic advisory engagement for an undersecured lender in the aftermarket sector of the automotive industry. The engagement involved an evaluation of all potential transaction alternatives, including potential financing and M&A solutions. Configure assisted the lender by leveraging its relationships in the automotive sector in order to develop the strategy to maximize lender recoveries, which ultimately resulted in a sale of the borrower.
This transaction represents another engagement in the automotive industry for Configure, having completed M&A, restructuring and financing transactions for companies across the automotive value chain, spanning Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers to the consumer aftermarket.
"This engagement is an excellent example of Configure's ability to blend our deep expertise in the financing markets with our knowledge on how best to resolve special situations. We are honored to be the advisor of choice for clients in and around the automotive sector," said Joseph Weissglass, Managing Director. "Near-term macroeconomic concerns, declining SAAR, and drivetrain electrification present a series of challenges for the industry, and Configure is prepared to advise clients seeking to raise debt capital and those facing capital structure challenges."
